Rosalind Atkins (b. 1957) is a printmaker who specializes in wood engraving. She is also a professional printer. She studied at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and completed her Master of Fine Art at La Trobe University. From 1987 to 2009 she worked as a Printer at the Australian Print Workshop, Fitzroy (Melbourne), where she printed relief and intaglio prints. In 2007 she was responsible for preparing the copper plates for Rick Amor’s Venice Series of etchings. Since 2010 the major part of her custom printing has been for Amor on presses at Around the Bend Press (Murray Walker’s studio), Northcote, and at Kate Herd’s studio in Alphington, and she has also been involved in a long-term collaborative project with the artist eX de Medici.
